        A widely circulated photo of the luxurious bedroom claims to be the view from inside the caravan where Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders stayed during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, which begins on September 7, 2022. Let’s check the claims in the post.
       Claim: Interior view of the caravan that carried Rahul Gandhi and other leaders during the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
        Fact: The image in the post was uploaded to Flickr on September 9, 2009 by a New Zealand prefab house company. Also, the inside of the container used in the Bharat Jodo Yatra does not match the image posted in the post. Therefore, the statement in the post is incorrect
       We performed a reverse search on the viral image and found that on September 16, 2009, New Zealand prefab house manufacturer One cool Habitation uploaded a higher resolution version of the same image to Flickr.
        By comparing two images, we can conclude that they are the same. A photo of the same bedroom from a different angle can be seen here. Image metadata also shows the same information.
        Further research led us to media reports showing containers used by Rahul Gandhi and other Congress leaders. In an interview with India Today, Jairam Ramesh, member of the House of Commons and leader of the Congress Party, said: “You see with your own eyes, this is just the smallest container. There are 60 containers and it can accommodate about 230 people. Rahul Gandhi Container is a single bed container. My container and Digvijay Singh’s container is a 2 bed container. There are also containers with 4 beds and containers with 12 beds. These are not containers made in China. These are minimalistic and practical containers. which we rent from a company in Mumbai.”
